Gumby with Pokey is one of the creative costumes from years past at
Halloween with Horses. With a little ingenuity and some cooperation from
your fun-loving horse or pony, you could win $1,000 at the ninth annual
Halloween with Horses costume contest at The Colorado Horse Park on October
18. Riders and horses of all ages are welcome for this fun event held
during the famous family fall festival.

Catching up:

Sally Dunn hit it lucky when she stopped at a casino in the Saratoga area to play the penny slot machines. She was a winner - a total of $14,000, before Uncle Sam took his part.

Marty Bauman took a short cut on the way to the North American Young Riders Championships in Colorado. He stopped by and visited Mason Phelps on his island in Canada. Mason says the water is too chilly to swim, but not for Marty he spent more time in the water than on land.

Sydney Masters Durieux says that Angus her Westie was asked to ring the bell by the Humane Society of NY at the NY Stock exchange. She had to decline because her boss was back in town and she couldn't be late!!! Now, we've heard lots of 'the dog ate my homework' excuses, but we've never heard 'the dog had to ring the bell at the Stock Exchange' excuse. Wonder if it would work shoulda gone for it Syd!

We heard Bravo filmed as she shopped around the grounds (Do we see a pair of pink Der Dau half chaps in her future?) Lou and Debi Dobbs were there cheering on their daughter Hillary, Bruce Springsteen as usual was avoiding cameras and trying watch his daughter Jessica it was all the usual whirl.

Beverly Wilkes is alive and well and living near the Dedham courthouse as any good lawyer can be. She looks fabulous and is enjoying the high life, or so we hear.

We hear that even Roberto Terron, Sr. has moved to South Carolina. Apparently he is training an amateur rider and will be in Camden now. It will be fun to see him at the popular PSJ shows. His son Roberto, Jr. cleaned up last year at the PSJ Mini-Prix ...
