Party Animals: What would you do if your stallion was named the USDF Breeding Stallion of the Year? If you were Rick Silvia of Dream Street Stallions, you'd throw a party. A party with film, crews, celebrities, live entertainment, a regal gathering for Wellington's best and brightest. Entertainment included recording artists Jenna Wyatt and Christina Wallace. Neither the stars, nor the film crew from the reality show, Jenna180, were enough to inhibit Rick, whose Elton John solo gave the real singers a run for money. In all, it was a really fun bash for some social horsing around. Here are a few party pix in case you missed the fun!

And speaking of parties - Sho Clothes hosted a season kick-off soiree at the Wellington Classic Challenge and paid tribute to our Gold Medal Pan Am team and other riders who had a great "Sho" season!

Show Time: Canadian Olympian Evi Strasser is doing the European scene this winter, and we were pleased to learn she enjoyed top scores among some of the world's best competitors at the FEI World Cup Qualifier held at Olympia London International Horse Show December 15-17 in London. "The show was just amazing," said Evi, noting that the large number of world-ranked riders competing was impressive. "Quantum was happy to perform, and Olympia felt like we were at home with the crowd right behind us."

Eventing: Darren Chiacchia has been trying for some time to work out the hurdles so that he can move his business to the Knox Estate in East Aurora, New York. This beautiful estate is now under the control of the NY State Parks Department and Darren has been put through hoops. Will he actually make the move to this property? We hear this is still a work in progress and no deal has been struck yet. Good luck Darren, this should be great if you can make the move.

FEI World Ranked Number 5 British event rider Polly Stockton went skiing in late January with approximately twenty friends in Meribel with rally car driving husband Chris. She says it was a brief period of relaxation before campaigning Tangleman for Lexington. As funding is being re-directed towards Beijing this year, Tangleman - who has so nearly won Kentucky 3DE in the past - is seeking corporate sponsorship for the transatlantic journey.
